Poomio ("we", "us") provides an online Digital SAT preparation platform at poomio.com. You can reach us any time through our contact form or at support@poomio.com.

• Account information: name, email address, account type (student or parent), password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Onboarding details you choose to provide: target score, test date, study goals and self-reported strengths.
• Learning activity: practice answers, accuracy by skill, mock exam results, streaks, XP, flashcard reviews and AI tutor conversations.
• Support messages you send us through the contact or support forms.
• Billing information: subscription status, plan, renewal dates and the payment identifiers returned by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and basic usage logs needed to operate and secure the service.

• To deliver the service: generate practice, grade answers, run the AI tutor and build personalised study plans.
• To show progress: score predictions, weakness heatmaps, streaks and parent progress dashboards.
• To handle billing, trials, renewals and refunds.
• To respond to support requests.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Poomio is designed for high-school students preparing for the SAT. Users under 13 should not create an account directly. A parent or guardian may create a linked student account, in which case the parent can view that student's progress, usage and billing. Parents may request deletion of a linked student account at any time by contacting us.

We share the minimum data necessary with providers that operate parts of the service:

• Cloud hosting, database, authentication and storage infrastructure.
• Stripe, for subscription payments and the billing portal.
• AI model providers, to generate tutoring responses, explanations and study plans from the prompts and question context you submit.
• Email delivery, for account, security and reminder emails sent from notify.poomio.com.

We keep account and learning data while your account is active so your progress history stays intact. When an account is deleted, we remove personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email support@poomio.com or use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level database access rules so that users can only read their own records (and parents only their linked students'). Payments are processed by Stripe. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the "last updated" date above will change.
